Elevating your organization towards sustainability with CFO standards

On 16th January 2025, SOCOTEC Certification Thailand celebrated the opening of its new Environmental Department during a major event at the Best Western Plus Wanda Grand Hotel in Bangkok.
Nearly 100 clients were welcomed to discover the new CFO (Carbon Footprint for Organisation Evaluation) offering, marking a crucial milestone in the development of SOCOTEC Certification Thailand’s activities in environmental transition.

The event, titled "Elevating Your Organisation Towards Sustainability with CFO Standards by Socotec Certification Thailand," began with a keynote speech by Xavier Daniel, Managing Director of SOCOTEC Certification International (Group), followed by a speech by Sita Prawarnpit, Managing Director of Socotec Certification (Thailand) Co, Ltd, highlighting the importance of CFO standards for sustainability.

The programme included detailed presentations on CFO standards, their importance, and practical applications, notably by Kittiya Nakphan, Head of the Sustainability Department at Socotec Certification Thailand. External speakers also shared their expertise, such as Bovon Thiansawat from Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Thailand and Ekavin Ekavanont from Nagase Thailand.

A highlight of the event was a roundtable discussion on "The Path to CFO Certification: Preparing Your Organisation for Verification," led by experts from SOCOTEC.

The presence of SOCOTEC's Japanese team further reinforced the credibility of the services presented, emphasising the group’s international expertise in carbon evaluation. This event marks a significant advancement for SOCOTEC Certification Thailand in supporting its clients’ environmental transition in Southeast Asia.
